Zach Bastin
Zach Bastin is a Vice President of Portfolio Operations of KPS Mid-Cap Investments ("KPS Mid-Cap"). KPS, through its affiliated management entities, is the manager of the KPS Special Situations Funds, a family of private equity funds with approximately $19,7 billion of assets under management (as of 31 décembre 2024), focused on making controlling equity investments in manufacturing and industrial companies across a diverse array of industries, including basic materials, branded consumer, healthcare and luxury products, automotive parts, capital equipment and general manufacturing.
KPS Mid-Cap se focalise sur les investissements dans la tranche inférieure du marché intermédiaire, qui nécessitent jusqu’à 200 millions de dollars en capital initial. KPS Mid-Cap cible le même type d’opportunités d’investissement et utilise la même stratégie de placement que celles utilisées par les fonds vedette de KPG depuis plus de trois décennies.
Prior to joining KPS in 2025, Mr. Bastin was a Director at AlixPartners, LLP. Prior to AlixPartners, he was a Senior Project Engineer at Covidien. Mr. Bastin holds a B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering from Pennsylvania State University and a M.B.A. from Carnegie Mellon University Tepper School of Business.
